About GreenStreet Companies

GreenStreet is a privately owned full service Multifamily housing development company based in Reno, Nevada.

The principals of GreenStreet, have over 50 years of combined multifamily real estate development and management experience. Together they have financed and built over 8,000 residential units of multifamily housing throughout Nevada and California.

Dane C. Hillyard, Principal

Dane is a co-founder of GreenStreet Companies.

Dane graduated from the USC School of Business in 1980. He began his career in Southern California with Mission Development Co., the real estate development and construction company founded by his father in1962. There he learned all aspects of residential development including: feasibility, land acquisition, design, finance, construction and property management.

Dane went on to create the development arm of Pacific West Companies in 1994. Dane was co owner and the licensed General Contractor and Real Estate broker for both CA and NV for Pacific West Companies. He headed the development team in feasibility, land acquisition, finance, design and property management.

Dane has over thirty years of real estate development experience and has been responsible for the acquisition, development and management of over 7,500 residential single family and multifamily units in California and Nevada.

Jim Zaccheo, Principal

Jim is a co-founder of GreenStreet Companies.

Jim began his professional career after receiving his B.S. degree in accounting from the University of Nevada in 1990. He then spent five years at the international accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick where he was a manager in the audit department supervising SEC audits and IPOs. After leaving public accounting, Jim served as the Chief Financial Officer for a variety of real estate development companies, including Pacific West Companies and Tanamera Co. His duties ranged from oversight of corporate accounting, as well as securing construction financing and equity capital.

Throughout his career, Jim has been directly involved in the development of nearly 5,000 residential single and multi-family units, and has structured over $1.5 billion in real estate financing. He has over twenty years of experience in all aspects of residential real estate from land acquisition, project feasibility, development, finance, property management and sales.
